    Overview

    • EZ Upgrade makes upgrading your notebook hard drive as easy at 1-2-3.

      This innovative kit includes all the hardware and software needed to painlessly transfer all the data from an old hard drive to a new hard drive in three easy steps. To upgrade your notebook hard drive simply: 

    • 1) Insert your hard drive into EZ Upgrade enclosure and connect to the USB port on your computer.

      The innovative EZ Upgrade enclosure has connectors for both Serial ATA (SATA) and Parallel ATA (PATA) hard drives, meaning that it can connect to any standard 2.5" notebook hard drive.

      To connect, simply slide the tray on the EZ Upgrade enclosure out and connect your drive to the appropriate SATA or PATA connector. Insert the drive into the enclosure and connect to the USB port on your notebook.

      2) Run the included cloning software to copy all of your data, email & OS to your new drive

      Apricorn's intuitive EZ Gig cloning software guides you through the process in 3 simple steps.

      • Select your Source drive (this is your notebook's internal drive)
      • Selet your Destination drive (this is the drive in your EZ Upgrad enclosure)
      • Press "Start Clone" and EZ Gig will take care of the rest.

      3) Swap out your old notebook drive with your new one, and you’re done!

      Simply remove a couple of screws, slide out the drive in your notebook and replace it with your newly cloned drive from the EZ Upgrade enclosure. It really is that simple. 

      If that’s not enough, EZ Upgrade transforms the old hard drive from the notebook into a portable Hi-Speed USB 2.0 external backup and/or storage solution.
